About

Hi, I’m Naama.

I’m the founder of HelloFlo, sometimes known as “the period startup.” My dream was to help women manage their periods more easily by delivering timely reminders, essential products, and personalized help whenever they need it. HelloFlo became so popular that eventually it was acquired by SheKnows Media.

Today, I’m proud to be the Vice President of Brand Marketing at Zulily, an e-commerce company. Their mission is to bring people “something special every day,” and I love making that happen. My work is my passion, and I’m filled with pride and gratitude when people tell me about the positive impact I’ve had on their lives.

My unique mix of talents and experience allow me to be an eloquent, powerful business leader and advocate for women everywhere. Equal parts creative and analytic, I use these skills to tell compelling stories and tackle big challenges. I’m a thinker, a maker, and a doer. Colleagues and friends call me “the problem solver.”

I live in Brooklyn with my husband and kids.

I welcome the opportunity to discuss new business ventures with you; contact me here.

About

What I Do

I tell stories and build brands. I’m a leader, an advocate, and an entrepreneur. I have over 20 years of experience crafting the marketing campaigns of Fortune 500 companies, startups, and everyone in between.

I know how to reach audiences and deliver key messages. I create compelling narratives, coordinated strategies, and high-quality content to meet ambitious goals. I understand the power of video, and I use it skillfully.

My work has earned a great deal of attention and respect. AdAge called me one of the world’s 50 most creative people in 2014. A year later, the Financial Times featured me in their “Women in Business” column. In 2016, I was named a “Woman of Influence” by the NY Business Journal.

I speak frequently on a wide array of topics, from digital marketing to business leadership to women’s issues. I delivered the keynote speech at “Fearless Philly”, and I’ve been a featured speaker at AdAge Digital, BOLO, and The Lady Project Summit.

I’ve also made appearances on CNN Money, HuffPo Live, and The Jewish Channel. My writing has been featured in ELLE, Lean In, and many other outlets.

My mother is proudest, though, of my interview with NPR’s Morning Edition.

We’re taking these private conversations that happen among women and getting rid of the shame and opening these conversations up to the public lens.
